MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS – Cherish e-Card

General Terms

1. The SMCI Cherish e-Card is non-transferable, non-assignable, and strictly for the exclusive use of the Card Holder.
2. The SMCI Cherish e-Card is not a point accumulation card and does not allow or require the collection of points for rewards, gift exchanges, or similar purposes.
3. The SMCI Cherish e-Card is not a credit card, debit card, charge card, or any financial instrument.

Privileges & Usage

1. Card Holders are entitled to the following SMCI benefits:
   • 20% discount on room rates (excluding ICU, CCU, HDU, CHDU, and Isolation rooms)
   • 10% discount on hospital charges (excluding consignment items)
   • 20% discount on selected Health Screening Packages
2. Discounts are only applicable to self-pay cases.
3. Discounts and privileges are valid only upon presenting the SMCI Cherish e-Card digitally during registration or payment.
4. No retrospective reimbursement or refund will be made for transactions where the Card Holder fails to present the e-Card.
   • Unless stated otherwise, the SMCI Cherish e-Card cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions, packages, corporate rates, or discount cards.
5. Discounts are subject to availability and may vary according to SMCI’s policies and updates.

Card Management

1. SMCI is not liable for any loss or damage incurred due to unauthorized use of the SMCI Cherish e-Card.
2. If the e-Card is lost, inaccessible, or compromised, Card Holders may request a replacement e-Card via SMCI, subject to verification.
3. SMCI reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Card Holder’s privileges if any terms, conditions, or benefits are misused or abused.

Data Protection

1. SMCI undertakes that all personal information supplied for e-card registration shall be handled according to applicable laws and will not be disclosed to third parties without the prior written consent of the Card Holder unless required by law.

Programme Validity

1. The SMCI Cherish e-Card is a lifetime membership programme with no renewal required.
2. This programme is applicable to Malaysians aged 60 years and above.
3. SMCI reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or add any terms, conditions, benefits, or privileges at its sole discretion without prior notice.
