Ear, Nose, Throat, Head & Neck Surgery
ENT, Head & Neck surgeons, also known as otorhinolaryngologists, specialize in the medical and surgical management of disorders involving the ear, nose, throat, as well as related structures of the head and neck.
Their scope includes treatment of chronic sinusitis, hearing loss, vertigo, nasal obstructions, voice and swallowing disorders, thyroid and salivary gland diseases, head and neck tumors, and sleep-related breathing issues such as obstructive sleep apnea. They perform a variety of procedures ranging from tonsillectomy, tympanoplasty, and endoscopic sinus surgery to complex head and neck cancer resections with reconstructive techniques.
ENT surgeons are involved from diagnosis and preoperative evaluation through to postoperative care and rehabilitation, often working in collaboration with audiologists, speech therapists, and oncologists. Their goal is to restore function, alleviate symptoms, and improve patients’ quality of life through both medical management and advanced surgical interventions.
